What TubeConnector does
TubeConnector uses YouTube API Services to connect channels you authorize to an agent you choose. It is an independent product, not a Google or YouTube service.
Data we access and store
We store your account email, a salted password hash, hashed login sessions and agent keys, consent records, channel ID and title, and encrypted Google access/refresh tokens. Channel video listings and analytics reports are fetched on request and are not maintained as a historical analytics database. If you prepare an upload, we store the MP4, title, description, channel, file hash and upload status until you remove the draft or account.
Purpose and Google permissions
Read access identifies your authorized channel and lists its videos. Analytics read access returns your channel reports. Optional upload access sends only the file and metadata you explicitly approve, with private visibility. Refresh tokens maintain the authorized connection without asking you to sign in for each request. We never collect your Google password.
Sharing with your agent
Creating an agent key requires separate confirmation. Any person or application holding that key can request responses for channels connected to your TubeConnector account, including non-public video metadata and analytics. Share a key only with an agent you trust. Responses go to that agent and its configured AI provider; their own privacy and retention terms also apply. Google credentials are never included in agent responses. Revoke keys in the app to stop future access.
Service providers and use limits
Google processes authorization and YouTube API requests. Our hosting provider processes application data to operate the service. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to develop, improve or train generalized AI or machine learning models. We do not send channel data to Dodo Payments; live billing is not enabled in this beta. Authorized administrators may access data only as needed for support, security or legal obligations.
TubeConnector's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Retention, security and deletion
Google tokens are encrypted at rest. Passwords, sessions and agent keys are stored as hashes. HTTPS protects data in transit. Account records remain while you use the service, unless you remove them. We revalidate stored channel identity and authorization at startup and every six hours. Detected revoked connections are erased; channel data that cannot be validated for 29 days is removed at the next check. Disconnecting revokes this app's Google grant and deletes the stored connection and associated drafts. Deleting your account also deletes its sessions, keys, consent and account records. These actions do not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. We do not create application database/media backups in this beta. Infrastructure providers may retain security records under their own policies.
You can also revoke access in Google Account permissions. For deletion without signing in, contact support from your account email. We verify account ownership before processing such requests and delete the relevant data within seven days of verification. See data deletion instructions.
Cookies and tracking
The app sets an essential, HttpOnly login cookie named cat_session, expiring after one day. Hosted cookies use Secure and SameSite=Lax. We do not install advertising cookies, third-party analytics or session replay on the app.
Your choices and contact
You can request access, correction or deletion of your account data at mrsimaregele@gmail.com. This beta is intended for adults managing channels they are authorized to control. Changes to this policy will appear here with a new effective date.
