A few practical details.
Will I ever need to sign in again?
Normal access token expiry is refreshed automatically. Revoked access still needs a fresh sign-in. Google OAuth apps in Testing generally issue seven-day refresh tokens for YouTube scopes; the application must be configured for production and reviewed as required to remove that test limitation.
Does this work with Codex and Claude?
The pilot exposes a Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint protected by an agent key. Codex supports bearer authentication. Claude Code supports custom HTTP MCP headers. Claude’s hosted web connector requires a separate OAuth integration and is not supported by this beta.
Can it publish a video automatically?
This pilot prepares MP4 drafts and supports a confirmed private upload. Public publishing, scheduling, thumbnails and metadata editing are planned separately.
What happens to my data?
TubeConnector stores account records and encrypted Google credentials on its server. You control agent keys, Google access and deletion from the app. Read the Privacy Policy for data access, sharing with your chosen agent, retention and deletion.
